LOW PRESSURE BALLOON WHEELS ROLL OVER SOFT AND DIFFICULT TERRAIN

Wheeleez, Inc. of Benicia, CA, a specialty wheel distributor serving North America, expands its product line to include low pressure balloon wheels for use on hand drawn carts and dollies. The unique Wheeleez® wheel will not sink, plow or dig into soft terrain like conventional tires do. Made of extremely durable plastics, the wheels are light-weight, yet puncture resistant. They perform as well on sand, mud and other high-resistance surfaces as they do on concrete or asphalt, making them extremely versatile.

The highly flexible, low-pressure tires distribute weight evenly, allowing a person to push/pull an awkward load with minimal effort over hard obstacles, such as rocks, stumps or obstructions in the field as well as air lines, electric cables or hoses on the shop floor that would jam or lock up typical wheels. Additional attributes include impressive anti-shock and vibration dampening characteristics, which prove excellent for sensitive equipment transport because Wheeleez™ wheels possess inherent suspension characteristics due to the tires pliability.

Two tire materials and five wheel models are offered: Tire materials include PVC for recreational applications and Polyurethane for heavy duty or industrial applications. Wheel sizes include 22 (8.75”) and 30cm (11.7”) in PVC and 30cm (11.7”), 42cm (16’5”) and 49cm (19.3”) diameter in Polyurethane. Flanged rims provide room for tire expansion and plastic hubs feature replaceable bearings with stainless steel ball bearings inside Nylon housings or replaceable Nylon bushing sleeves.
